My inspirations in this collection are natural acrons , Pasania cornea , seashells and lace I got in my hometown
in Taiwan. These materials have a similar function in that they are a type of home for particular species.
Acrons and Pasania cornea protectthe seeds with hard wooden casing ; Seashells protect the precious pearls ;
Lace is a kind of fabric sometimes produce by silk, cocoon is a safe place for silkworm to grow.
Studying abroad alone make me feel homesick sometimes. In this design, I want to utilized these materials to represent the concept of a safe haven and the species. A place that makes me feel comfort, support, and love.
